Forum
Make new friends and get things off your chest on the discussion boards. Our forums let you ask questions, share your experiences or just search for answers.
Chat
Talk to other carers, carer support workers and other visiting guests in our safe chat room. The chat section will be at the bottom of the forum and will only be available to registered users.
You will have to register with Greenwich Carers via the 'register' section on the forum, enter a username, password and a recognisable e-mail address. Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from our team confirming your account is set up. Only registered Greenwich Carers will be allowed access to the forums.
There's not many rules. We want you to feel comfortable here and have a huge degree of freedom to express and enjoy yourself. With this right comes responsibility though.
Do's:
- Think about what you're posting. Is it original, interesting, thought provoking or good humoured?
- Feel free to start a new thread as long as it's within the guidelines (see dont's)

Don'ts
- Use abuse - this doesn't just include the use of bad language.
- Promote/glorify the use of illegal drugs, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, spam, fraud, racism, sexism, homophobia, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity.
- Post copyrighted material without the owners permission, this is your responsibility. Where the material is public owned, credit the author/source where possible.
- Use the site to promote another without prior consent of the site owners (spamming)
- Do not post phone numbers or addresses on the main forum or agree to meet other users outside of Greenwich Carers organised and supervised meetings.
In summary, respect the forum and the people within it.
Failure to comply with the above will oridinarily lead to the following:
1st Instance - Personal Message from a moderator informing that action/behaviour is not acceptable.
2nd Instance - Failure to comply with the request from the moderator will result in a 1 week suspension
3rd Instance - On return if action continues, a 1 month suspension will be applied
After this, a total block will be enforced.
In certain instances users may be placed in moderated groups, meaning all posts will be screened by moderators.
Greenwich Carers reserves the right to bypass one or more step in the above process depending on the severity.
